RINA is the replacement for today’s Internet protocols, in the same way that Windows was a replacement for MS-DOS. We’re overdue for the upgrade!
Yesterday I presented at the 5th international RINA Workshop at Barcelona. For those unfamiliar with Recursive InterNet Architecture, you can read my two previous articles:
- Network architecture research: TCP/IP vs RINA, from the 2013 workshop.
- A new kind of network: RINA progress update, from 2016.
I will write up my thoughts about the event separately. In the meantime, I have created an annotated version of my presentation.
